New ladder truck for Huntley

Hey everyone, Just got back from visiting the Spartan ERV aerial plant in Ephrata, PA earlier today. I had the chance to see the new quint destined for Huntley being put through its paces. They were conducting a stress test on the aerial ladder out back. It's always fascinating to witness these critical checks firsthand. Here are some photos I snapped while I was there. The vehicle is an impressive 103-foot rear-mount model built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis with the Evolution fascia. The plan is to ship this unit to South Dakota imminently—likely within the next few days—if it hasn't already departed. Once it arrives, they'll install the pump module and finalize the bodywork before delivering it to Huntley. I must say, seeing the subassembly and ladder already mounted onto the chassis gives you a real appreciation for the craftsmanship involved. And the stress testing process? That’s where things get even more interesting. Watching them push the limits of the ladder to ensure it meets safety standards really highlights how seriously these manufacturers take their work. Take a look at the images below. You can clearly see the level of detail that goes into each step of the build process. This truck represents years of planning and engineering brought together into one incredible piece of firefighting equipment.
