Chicago working fire, 11-19-16

This is a message from Larry Shapiro:

Here are a few photos from a working fire that took place on Saturday morning, November 19th, 2016, at 2310 W. Jackson Boulevard. By the time I arrived, the fire had already been extinguished. It looks like there was a small fire on the roof, and I heard that roofers were reportedly working on the building earlier that day. One firefighter was taken to the hospital by Ambulance 44 due to an injury sustained during the incident.

The scene was still being cleaned up when I arrived, and it was clear that crews had worked quickly to contain the blaze. The presence of multiple units, including a tower ladder and several engines, suggests that the fire was taken seriously. Although the fire was small, it's always good to see such a strong response from the Chicago Fire Department. I'll be posting more photos soon.
