Chicago working fire, 11-19-16

This is from Larry Shapiro:

Here are a few photos from a working fire that took place on Saturday morning, November 19, 2016, at 2310 W. Jackson Boulevard. By the time I arrived, the fire was already out. From what I could gather, there had been a small fire on the roof, and I heard that roofers were reportedly working at the location earlier in the day. One firefighter was transported by Ambulance 44 after sustaining some kind of injury during the incident.

The images show several Chicago Fire Department units on the scene, including Engine 26, Tower Ladder 5, and Engine 104. The presence of these units suggests a coordinated response to what was likely a serious but contained fire. It's always interesting to see how quickly emergency services can mobilize and respond to incidents like this. Thanks, Larry, for sharing your perspective and the photos.
