Here are some (cell phone) photos from the Fire Service Inc. open house held on a cloudy day, September 9th, in St. John, Indiana.

Several fire departments were present, including Homer Township, which will soon be receiving its new Engine 32. University Park is also set to take delivery of a new E-ONE engine, with a second E-ONE unit still in production. There were several demo trucks on display, as well as the old Lincolnwood Truck 15, which had an interesting history and was a real crowd favorite.

The event was a great opportunity for local fire departments to see the latest equipment up close and learn more about what's available. Itâ€™s always exciting to see new engines coming into service, especially when they're built by trusted manufacturers like E-ONE. The turnout was good, and it was clear that the community values their emergency services.
