Fire engine and Steam Locomotive unite

From Scott Peterson:

Found this while driving through Hebron, Illinois. It was purchased from a fireman in Skokie by Doug Reno. The engine will be on display at the Illinois Railway Museum this weekend and the following two weekends. It's going to be used as a steam engine. The piping on the driver's side was custom-made for a quick-fill system when the rig is in Union to fill the steam engine The Leviathan. The rig is in excellent condition! It carries WLF so it's numbered 80-1129.

This is a rare find—especially for rail enthusiasts or anyone interested in vintage fire apparatus. The fact that it’s being displayed at the Illinois Railway Museum makes it even more special. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out. The attention to detail in the piping and the overall condition of the rig show that it's been well-maintained over the years. Whether you're a model train buff, a history lover, or just curious about old machinery, this is something you don't want to miss.
