New ladder truck for Huntley

Hi everyone, I just got back from checking out the new Spartan ERV aerial pumper that's being built for the Huntley Fire Protection District. I visited their facility in Ephrata, Pennsylvania on Monday, and it was really impressive to see how things are coming along. The quint they've ordered is already making some progress. They’ve got the main chassis there, complete with the Spartan Gladiator frame and the Evolution fascia. The ladder itself has undergone some serious stress testing, which is crucial to ensure its durability and safety. I even snapped a few photos while I was there—check them out below. One of the most exciting parts is that the subassembly and ladder are now fully mounted onto the chassis. From what I heard, the unit is practically ready to ship out to South Dakota anytime now. Once it gets there, they’ll focus on mounting the pump module and completing the final assembly of the body. It’s amazing to think that this 103-foot rear-mount rig will soon be in action protecting the community. Here are a couple of shots I took during my visit: ![Huntley’s new Spartan ERV quint](#) *Huntley’s new Spartan ERV quint. It’s always exciting to see these projects come together, and I’m looking forward to hearing more about how this truck performs once it’s officially deployed. Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts! Take care, Larry
