From September 25 to October 10, the Paris Motor Show, one of the last major international auto exhibitions of the year, took place in Paris, France. This year’s event showcased three key trends shaping the future of the automotive industry.
First, there was a renewed focus on diesel technology. On the first day of the show, Richard Wagner, CEO of General Motors, made a surprising statement by emphasizing the importance of diesel engines during his presentation. He introduced the Chevrolet S3X, a new model launched in Europe, and highlighted the benefits of diesel power—something unusual for an American executive. In the U.S., diesel cars have long been less popular due to abundant and cheap gasoline. However, at this show, even American automakers began to recognize the potential of diesel vehicles, signaling a shift in perception. Toyota also made headlines by unveiling its D-4D180CleanPower concept engine, which significantly reduces emissions while maintaining performance. The Prius GT, equipped with a new 3.0-liter D-4D diesel engine, attracted considerable attention. With upcoming Euro IV standards and growing environmental concerns, diesel is making a comeback, not only in Europe but also among American and Asian automakers like Honda, GM, and Nissan, who are introducing diesel models to meet stricter regulations.
Second, lightweight materials, particularly aluminum, became a major theme. Hyundai's E-COGetz1.1CRDi concept car stood out, featuring an aluminum body and engine that reduced weight by 38% and 25%, respectively. Aluminum is praised for its strength, lightness, and efficiency, contributing to better fuel economy and longer engine life. Many automakers are increasingly using aluminum in body panels, bumpers, and other components to meet environmental and cost-saving goals. This trend reflects a broader shift toward lighter, more efficient vehicles since the 1970s.
Third, fashion and design merged in the automotive world. Italian designer Giorgio Armani collaborated with Mercedes-Benz on the CLK500 prototype, bringing a touch of high fashion to the show. Pininfarina also showcased two stylish models: the NIDO, designed with input from Louis Vuitton, and the Peugeot 1007, which featured vibrant color options and a sleek, modern design. These examples highlight how automotive design is becoming more fashionable, appealing to both aesthetics and functionality.
Overall, the Paris Motor Show offered a glimpse into the future of the automobile industry—where sustainability, innovation, and style converge.
Roller Covered Ceramic Rubber Sheet
Roller covered ceramic rubber sheet is a way of cold vulcanization of roller covering, the surface of the ceramic piece can play a non-slip role, to extend the service life of the conveyor belt roller, each piece of ceramic piece is spaced at a certain distance, which can make the roller on the discharge of foreign matter, gives the drum a unique self-cleaning feature that is especially suited to wet working environments.
The combination of ceramic and rubber sheet increases the wear resistance of rubber sheet, making our ceramic rubber sheets more durable and longer lasting than ordinary rubber sheets.
The CN layer on the back side acts as a super Adhesive, the ceramic rubber sheet is more effective when used with our Adhesive!
Due to the multiple performance advantages of ceramic rubber sheets, they are now widely used in belt conveyor rollers in coal mines, grain silos, iron and steel, chemical fertilisers, cement factories, power plants, harbours, wharves and many other industries.
If your belt conveyor roller equipment is not durable, come and have a look our ceramic rubber plate, you will have an efficient, stable and environmentally friendly conveying solution. Our ceramic rubber sheet is not only a product, but also a powerful assistant for you to improve the competitiveness of your enterprise and achieve industrial upgrading.
