Biodegradable liquid film entering the demonstration farm for the control of "white pollution" to find a shortcut

The Qingdao Municipal Science and Technology Project, supported by special programs, has enabled Shandong University of Science and Technology to advance its research on "multi-functional biodegradable liquid film" into the demonstration phase. This initiative aims to address the growing issue of traditional plastic mulch causing "white pollution" in agricultural areas. Jiaonan City is expected to establish a production base with an annual output of 10,000 tons of multi-functional biodegradable liquid film next year. Plastic mulching technology is widely used in agriculture for soil moisture retention and temperature regulation. However, conventional plastic films are difficult to decompose naturally, leading to environmental contamination. When left in the soil, they can disrupt soil structure and contribute to long-term pollution. As a result, developing degradable alternatives has become a key focus in sustainable agricultural practices. The multi-functional biodegradable liquid film is made from lignite, weathered coal, or peat-based black liquor, along with byproducts such as seaweed waste liquor, winemaking waste liquor, or starch waste liquor. These materials are combined using crosslinkers to form polymer compounds that include additives like silicon fertilizers, trace elements, and even pesticides or herbicides. This innovative material not only serves as a mulch but also enhances soil fertility and reduces the need for chemical inputs. This project features three major innovations: enhanced salt resistance, improved water retention, and increased efficiency in nutrient delivery. Field trials conducted in Jiaonan City, in collaboration with Shandong University of Science and Technology, have shown promising results in crops such as peanuts, corn, and sweet potatoes. The performance has been highly satisfactory, proving the practical value of this technology. As a result, the project has been officially recognized by local science and technology departments and included in the national plan for resource-saving technology demonstration cities. Efforts are now underway to expand its application across more farmlands, promoting a greener and more sustainable approach to agriculture.

Plate Gas Heat Exchanger

The fully welded flue gas plate heat exchanger is a new type of welded plate heat exchanger, primarily used for waste heat recovery from flue gas/exhaust gas. It is an innovative environmentally friendly and energy-saving device, suitable for gas-to-gas or gas-to-liquid heat exchange. The equipment consists of key components such as the plate bundle, tube box, and casing. The fully welded plate bundle serves as the heat transfer unit, with stainless steel plates acting as the heat transfer elements. The plates feature a contact-point structural design, ensuring excellent flow passage and low resistance. The plates are sealed by welding, guaranteeing both high heat transfer efficiency and addressing safety concerns related to flue gas leakage.

The equipment adopts a modular design, with the entire unit assembled from multiple modules, capable of achieving a maximum installation capacity of 100,000 square meters. Typically, a single module has an installation capacity of around 1,500 square meters based on process requirements. The plate thickness of the flue gas heat exchanger generally ranges from 0.8 to 1.2 mm.

The THT Juyuan series fully welded flue gas plate heat exchanger integrates internationally advanced heat transfer technology, embodying world-class technical expertise and quality.
