I. Technical progress

(1) Research on roasting-magnetic separation method. However, these process technologies still need further improvement and industrialization.

(2) Research on flotation method. Flotation is one of the most effective and potential methods for selecting difficult mines. The research on flotation method in foreign countries is mainly applied to the application of cationic reverse flotation process technology, which makes the concentrate grade of iron oxide ore reach over 66% and silicon contains less than 4%. There are many research work in the domestic flotation method. Anshan Iron and Steel Donganshan Sintering Plant has carried out research work on the application of cationic reverse flotation, anion positive flotation, and cationic reverse flotation to select Donganshan iron ore, and applied anti-floating by anion. The selection process increases the grade of iron concentrate to over 65%. At present, the domestic Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Maanshan Mine Research Institute, Northeastern University and other units are engaged in research work on a variety of difficult ore flotation technologies.

(3) Research on strong magnetic separation method. Strong magnetic separation is widely used in difficult ore dressing applications. China is a strong research country for high-gradient magnetic separators. The high-gradient magnetic separator has been applied in countries such as South Africa. In China, Zhangzhou Jinhuan Magnetic Separation Equipment Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Nonferrous Metals Research Institute are the main manufacturers of high gradient magnetic separators. The high gradient magnetic separators have been researched in several mines such as Anshan Iron and Steel, Tangshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. application.

(4) Joint process research. The joint process is an effective process for selecting iron ore at home and abroad, especially for refractory ore. At present, there are weak magnetic separation - strong magnetic selection - reverse flotation or magnetic separation - re-election - reverse flotation combined process, magnetic separation ―Re-election-flotation-Electrical selection and strong magnetic-flotation combined process, washing-re-selection-magnetic separation and other processes have been applied at home and abroad.

(5) Research on ore-like iron ore beneficiation. China's braided iron ore mainly exists in the Xuanhua-Longyan area of ​​Hebei. For a long time, a large number of scientific research units in the state have conducted long-term research work with little success. In the past two years, the state is also organizing relevant units to carry out research work.
Second, equipment progress

(1) Research and application of high gradient magnetic separator. The SLon vertical ring pulsation high gradient magnetic separator has been well applied. There is a problem that it is difficult to improve the grinding efficiency of the regrind mill, the re-grinding circulation is large, the over-grinding phenomenon is serious, the metal loss is caused, and the mineral processing technical index is not high. After applying MVS high-frequency vibrating mesh screen, it has obvious advantages: First, MVS high-frequency vibrating screen has higher screening efficiency; second, MVS high-frequency vibrating screen has better quality improvement effect; third, MVS high-frequency vibrating screen has higher The opening ratio of the MVS high-frequency vibrating screen has good energy-saving effect. This makes the beneficiation efficiency improved.

(3) Research and application of high-efficiency magnetic separator. The high-efficiency BX weak magnetic separator effectively improves the quality of the concentrate in the process. The device has the characteristics of large number of magnetic poles, large magnetic envelope angle, large magnetic field intensity and high gradient, high pressure flushing water in the selected area, high overflow of the tailings, and a long selection interval in the slurry. It is beneficial to increase the number of rolling of magnetic mineral particles in the slurry, and to remove the gangue and the lean body in the magnetic particles, which is beneficial to improve the beneficiation index. This equipment is one of the most efficient equipment for handling difficult magnetite.

(4) Research and application of high-efficiency grinding and grading equipment . In recent years, high-efficiency grinding and grading equipment has been well applied. The specific performance is as follows: the large-scale grinding machine improves the efficiency of the grinding process; the long-bore grinding machine has better application effect; the hydrocyclone is used in the grinding and grading operation. It has been well applied; the automation of grinding grade has been greatly developed. However, the problem of over-grinding in grinding has not been fundamentally solved and is far from the expected distance.

(5) Research and application of high efficiency flotation equipment . At present, the development of flotation machine is very fast. The series of BF, SF and JJF flotation machines developed and formed by Beijing Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy have good flotation effect and large application range. At the same time, the FCSMC flotation column also completed the process test work at the Gongchangling Concentrator of Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., and the quality improvement effect was obvious.

Third, the progress of the drug

Anti-flotation agent research is one of the key core technologies for iron ore beneficiation technology advancement in China. Compared with foreign research, high-efficiency beneficiation flotation reagents develop rapidly in China, the main situation is:

(1) Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy is one of the earliest research units in China to carry out research on anion reverse flotation reagents. In 1997, its research RA-315 took the lead in large-scale industrial application at the Qidashan Iron Ore Dressing Plant of Anshan Iron and Steel. Later, the research of RA-515 and RA-715 has been continuously launched, and RA series collectors have been formed, which have been widely used in China.

(2) Maanshan Mine Research Institute is one of the research units with earlier research on flotation technology in China and more research on flotation methods. In recent years, research work on M series anion reverse flotation collectors has been carried out for refractory iron ore, and has been applied in Anshan Iron and Steel and Anyang Steel on the basis of serialization.

(III) Northeastern University also carried out a series of research work on the development of collectors. The anion positive flotation collectors studied in the Anshan Iron and Steel Sintering Plant of Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. conducted industrial tests.

(IV) The development of LKY anion reverse flotation collector was carried out in Qidashan Iron Mine of Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., and it was applied to the Qidashan Iron Ore Dressing Plant of Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., and the effect was very good.

(5) Anshan Iron and Steel Mining Co., Ltd. has carried out research work on compounding and high-efficiency mineral processing chemicals, and has made important progress.
