Metal balance classification of the concentrator

Beneficiation plant of metal into actual metal balance balance (also known as trade balance) and metal equilibrium theory (also known as the balance of the process). The actual metal balance takes into account the mechanical losses and local metal losses in each process during the beneficiation process. The actual metal balance is calculated based on the actual amount of raw ore and the original ore, as well as the actual concentrate and concentrate grade, and the recovery rate is called the actual recovery. The theoretical metal balance does not consider the mechanical loss and metal loss at each stage of the beneficiation. The recovery rate of the concentrate is calculated based on the grades of the ore, concentrate and tailings. This recovery rate is called the theoretical recovery rate. This inevitably causes a difference between the theoretical recovery rate and the actual recovery rate, which is called the metal balance difference. According to national regulations, the allowable range of this difference is ±1% for a single metal concentrator, ±1.5% for a re-election plant, and ±2% for a multi-metal plant.
