The birth of a new fingerprint anti-theft device can forcibly turn off the car

According to recent reports, Cheshen Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Che Shen Electronics) has announced that it will no longer manufacture automotive remote controllers and has shifted its focus to fingerprint anti-theft devices. These remote controllers, also known as "reserve air conditioners," allow users to turn on their car's air conditioning without entering the vehicle. In addition, they offer an added layer of security by sending an alert to the owner's mobile phone when someone attempts to steal the car. The system can then automatically shut down the vehicle, making it impossible to start even with the original key unless the owner resets the system. The product was first introduced in 2004 by Cheshen Electronics. It was priced above 2,000 yuan for retail and over 1,000 yuan for wholesale. Initially targeted at high-end vehicle owners, the product had a limited market reach. Wang Nan, head of the Automotive God Electronics Marketing Department, explained that due to the small market size, the company decided to discontinue production after selling only a few thousand units since its launch. Industry experts believe that with the increasing frequency of hot days, such remote control systems could still hold some potential in the market. However, the current functionality is quite basic and limited in application. They suggest that these features should be integrated into future automotive products as optional enhancements, rather than standalone accessories. This approach could help expand their use and improve overall user experience. Release date: 2006/9/8 13:34:12
