The BW-320 plunger mud pump is a versatile horizontal triplex single-acting reciprocating piston pump designed with eight flow rates using two cylinders and four gear transmissions. This pump is ideal for a wide range of drilling applications such as 1000-meter hydraulic impact drilling, 1500-meter screw drilling, and 2500-meter core drilling. It's also suitable for grouting in soft foundations, engineering construction drilling, well drilling, alpine water supply, mine drainage, and dike grouting.
During the drilling process, the mud pump supplies the drilling hole with sufficient fluid to circulate and carry debris to the surface. This helps keep the bottom of the hole clean, prevents the hole wall from collapsing, and cools and lubricates the drilling tools. The flushing fluid used should not contain any corrosive chemicals that could damage metal or rubber parts. When using mud, it's recommended that the water-to-mud ratio be between 1.03 and 1.12, with a viscosity of 18–25S, silt content below 4%, sand particle diameter less than 3mm, and a pH value around 7–8. No small mud balls, weeds, leaves, or other impurities should be present in the mud.
