Recently, the 2014 Guangxi Science and Technology Award Conference and the 23rd Guangxi Science and Technology Week were held in Nanning. Yuchai’s “Commercial Vehicle Hybrid Powertrain System†won the first prize of the Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award.
The project was jointly completed by Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Shanghai Haineng Automobile Electronics Co., Ltd. Starting from R&D in 2004, the project began in 2005. After nine years of intensive research and development, the Yuchai Commercial Vehicle Hybrid Powertrain System has undergone two technical upgrades. The products have been upgraded from ordinary hybrids to plug-in hybrids .
Today, with the increasing environmental pollution and energy crisis, hybrid products have attracted more and more attention from all walks of life and have become popular with our customers. Compared with general hybrid power, Yuchai hybrid power is relatively uniform in terms of appearance and installation. The battery size can be individually configured; the motor torque is increased, the energy feedback efficiency is high, and the fuel-saving rate is increased; when the power system fails, it can pass. The button switches to the mode of "climbing home".
Compared with traditional power products, Yuchai's hybrid products can achieve a fuel saving rate of up to 30% per vehicle. According to a 100,000-kilometer-per-a-year operation, 12,000 liters of fuel can be saved, and 2,000 units are put into the market every year. It can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 63,600 tons.
Currently, Yuchai hybrid power products have been operating in Guangzhou, Wuhan, Kunming, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Guiyang, Nanchang, Chongqing and Yulin.
