According to the characteristics of tailings of Hunan Baoshan Nonferrous Metals Mining Co., Ltd., through the new pharmacy, new process and beneficiation process structure, the valuable metal elements such as copper, molybdenum, sulfur and tungsten in the tailings and garnet and fine powder can be directly and fully recovered. For non-metallic minerals, tailings is the research object, and the following research methods are used to determine the process of comprehensive utilization of tailings:

I. Investigate the tailings of Hunan Baoshan Nonferrous Metals Mining Co., Ltd., systematically collect and sort out the survey data of tailings resources, and find out the different types of ore processing, ore grades in the mine over the years, different tailings discharges and mine tails over the years. The pre-enriched tailings are mixed with copper and molybdenum---copper-molybdenum separation-sulphur process to recover copper and molybdenum. , sulfur concentrate, copper molybdenum mixed composition selected from the collector investigated amount, selected from mixed copper-molybdenum concentrate to obtain the crude multiple selection, regrinding, and the pyrite added inhibitors, copper molybdenum crude The concentrate is further separated from the sulfur. The pH value of the tailings slurry after comprehensive recovery of copper and molybdenum has been reduced to the flotation of pyrite, and the influence of conditions on the copper, molybdenum, sulfur grade and recovery rate is determined to determine the optimal flotation process conditions. 4. Sodium carbonate is used as the adjusting agent, water glass is the gangue inhibitor, and oxidized paraffin soap is used as the collector to select the white tungsten in the tailings after copper molybdenum sulphide. The water glass dosage, temperature and mixing time are mainly examined. And the conditions of sodium sulfide and other conditions on the selected indicators of white tungsten coarse concentrate, so as to determine the best white tungsten flotation process conditions, to obtain qualified white tungsten concentrate products.

5. The tailings after the flotation of tungsten is taken as the research object. The magnetic separation process is used to recover the garnet, and the ultra-fine-level process to recover the micro-powder product plan, combined with the market conditions, has made good application to garnet and micro-powder.

Through the tailings flotation exploration test, good results were obtained. The Mo grade of molybdenum concentrate recovered from tailings was 40.22%, the recovery rate of Mo was 21.08%, the Cu grade of copper concentrate was 15.01%, and the recovery rate of Cu was 20.26%. WO3 grade 62.56%, WO3 recovery rate is 45.49%; sulfur concentrate S grade 38.12%, S recovery rate is 55.35%; garnet mineral content is 90.4%, recovery rate is 28.07%; fine powder yield is 1.08%, including Al2O3 was 18.83%.

The technical route of this project is: based on the on-site investigation and the study of the nature of tailings samples, from the perspective of comprehensive resource recovery, it proposes valuable metal elements such as copper, molybdenum, sulfur and tungsten, and non-metallic minerals such as garnet and micropowder. Such as the comprehensive recycling and utilization of technical solutions; for the main components and characteristics of the ore, the development of a reasonable selection process, through the use of graded pre-enrichment, flotation technology to recover sulfide ore (copper, molybdenum, sulfur) and oxidized ore (white tungsten Mine), the use of magnetic separation to recover garnet, ultra-fine-level recovery of fine powder, to ensure the efficient and comprehensive utilization of tailings.

The project is gradually completed in stages according to small-scale experimental research-industrial test-stable production. On the basis of the small test, through the rational design and optimization of the process structure, the organization of the design, construction and industrialization experiments, and steadily over-production to trial production and stable operation.
