It is reported that Clean Marine has signed a contract with Huanghai Shipbuilding (Location Review News) to provide an exhaust gas purification system (EGCS) for two refrigeration products (purchasing supply)/fishery support vessels under construction.
The contract also includes an alternative contract for the provision of additional exhaust gas purification systems for two identical chilled/fishing support vessels. These chilled/fishing support vessels are owned by Malta EF Transport Ltd. As the company's fishing vessels (ship-type shipyards) are primarily engaged in the Northeast Atlantic transportation mission, the current International Maritime Organization's Emission Control Zone (ECA) stringent requirements will be implemented.
The installation of Clean Marine's exhaust gas purification system will help refrigerated vessels (ship-type shipyards) to meet existing and future emission regulations without the use of expensive fuel.
The Clean Marine exhaust gas purification system supplied to Huanghai Shipbuilding is a Multistream scrubber that cleans 30,000 kg of exhaust gas per hour. The scrubber will remove sulfur oxides (SOx) and particulate matter from one main unit (purchased from the product library) and two auxiliary machines (purchased from the product library).

The primary reason for using a Square-ring in a sealing application is that they perform the sealing function in a superior manner – and at a cost lower than any other comparable sealing device. For existing applications, there is no need to change the design or procedures. Square-rings fit in O-ring grooves and are interchangeable size for size.
Square rings are available in a variety of rubber and plastic materials such as NBR, Viton, EPDM, Teflon, etc. In most static applications, a square ring will serve as a direct replacement for an O-ring and generally will perform a high pressure sealing function as well as or better than an O-ring.
