Since last year, Yuchai has further straightened out party building management, and has adjusted the party committee of the stock company into a second party committee. The two party offices, trade unions, and the Communist Youth League naturally integrate and implement unified management and unified command, greatly improving work efficiency; establishing a joint conference of the party and the masses The system has strengthened leadership, communication, and coordination; it has realized the integration management of grass-roots party organizations; the objectives of the party’s construction work have been consistent with the requirements for inspection and implementation, and management; and actively carried out in-depth study and practice of the scientific concept of development. Building, fighting hard, promoting scientific development, building the theme of the international Yuchai activity, and using the “operational optimization project, independent innovation project, team building project, and people's livelihood improvement project†as the carrier to closely integrate learning and practice activities with the development of the company’s operations , further solidified the scientific development concept.
The further strengthening of party building work has promoted the further improvement of business performance. Last year, Yuchai’s sales revenue reached 20.988 billion yuan, surpassing the 20 billion yuan mark for the first time, and fulfilling the goal of “rebuilding a Yuchai within three years†on time. From January to May of this year, Yuchai's sales revenue reached 10.932 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.36%. It is the only company in the domestic diesel engine industry to achieve year-on-year growth, again creating the amazing "Yuchai phenomenon."
