Keep the detector away from the object you are testing. Set the function switch to the appropriate mode, then adjust the knob until the alarm sounds and lights up. Move it back slightly to stop the alert.
Switch to 'Metal' mode for detecting metal objects, and to 'Voltage' mode for identifying live wires.
Position the detector's "DETECT" side close to the object and move it parallel along the surface. When it detects metal or an electrical wire, the device will emit sound and Light signals.
Always turn off the device after use. Remove the battery if not in use for an extended period.
Note: This device cannot detect AC wires inside metal pipes or walls.
