Manroland recently added double-sided printing to its Roland 500 press. This InlinePerfector (online double-sided press) can accommodate up to ten positive and negative five-color (5/5) printing units. It has a maximum rated speed of 15,000 pages per hour.
By using a single-roller paper steering system, this new device occupies the same footprint as a vertical press. InlinePerfector also adds a unit dedicated to double-sided coating of paper as needed.
